after a hard reset, I noted these changes after tapping the start Menu;
1. the Notetaker says "error...'
2. the Calendar says "database has been deleted or corrupted..."
3. The Programs folder is "empty"- no Connections, Active Synch, PC Link, Task. Solitaire, Voice Recorder
4. the Settings lack World clock, the PC Connection of Communication only showed "desktop@19200"
5. no Active desktop
6. all the programs that can be opened outside like Notetaker and Voice Recorder ( from their side buttons) and World Clock ( from the taskbar icon) could be accessed.
7. normally, after a hard rest,112 kb is left in the Main Memory; this time, only 80 kb.
8. Channels says " mobile channel error", no msn icon in channel explorer
What should I do to restore the integrity of my Window CE operating system, as it's obvious it's damaged. I need to have my palm-size pc working again- it has already become indispensable in my lifestyle.

Hi,
Did you remove all the batteries for about 20 minutes? This should perform a full reset.
