if using RAS to connect From P/PC to Windows NT Server, both of them also need a modem. Any other method that i can direct login to Windows NT where the P/PC direct plug the cradle serial port to Windows NT server Serial port. (but the server still also could ping the ip of P/PC )

Hi,
If you install ActiveSync and are synchronizing, you can ping the P/PC.
