How is a rom burned with windows CE and my application using visual basic 6.0? My application does not need all the standard user software, just windows CE and my application. Would like to burn roms and install in pocket PC. Do not want to use flash disk. what hardware, licenses, development software are required to download CE, application to a "Eprom burner" and then install in a pocket PC.

Hi,
I am not aware of any solutions like you are proposing for standard hardware. There is no option to burn your own roms right now.

I suggest you contact the manufacturers and ask them if this is practical.

Just Curious. Does anybody know of the handwriting recognition or speech recognition thst will be available on pocketPC, IPAQ, Jornada, Casio, PALM or Repier? If I misspelled anything please forgive. I am out hunting for a quality product with these apps. I am aware some are not out yet, but if anyone has "Heard" please acknowledge.
Thank you,
Chance

Hi,
You will learn about what's coming up on 4/19 when the Pocket PC and 3rd party applications are announced.
