COMPAQ iPack PC 700, Intel Celeron 699mhz CPU, 512 mb RAM, 9gb Maxtor HD, 6 USB sockets & CD drive.

Rebuild it (mobo out)with a 40gb WD400 HD, installed win XP & worked for a few days OK, networking with my other PC & going on the net.

Suddenly it will not boot all the way, gets op to the winXP logo & the moving lines for a few mintes then the blue screen of death.

Tried everything, resitting the ram sticks battery & all cables, with no results. Will not get into safe mode.

Any help will be appreciated ........nick

The sort of 'iPAQ' this forum represents is the Pocket PC or Windows Mobile (pocket-sized devices) kind, not a notebook or desktop PC. You would probably have better luck finding answers if you posted your question to some forum where users of such a computer are members.
