Hello,
I've grown quite dependent on my E-100 over the past year; the usual Outlook data synchs, etc. More recently, I've started synching spreadsheets w/desktop MS Excel. Problem: I need more room!
Question: I know nothing of CompactFlash add-ons. Before I invest any more money, I am curious as to how one transfers existing files over to CF card (Drag & Drop?). How does my E-100 even know a CF card is installed? Does CF card come w/cd software to first load onto my desktop? Any clarification would help, especially anyone who already uses CF cards for file storage.
Question: Would anyone trust purchasing 'generic' brand CF card from local Fry's Electronics?
Thanks to all, this Message Board is very helpful to me!

Tim

Hi,
Drag and drop or cut and paste works fine. Basically, you just navigate over to the directory and paste it there in the explorer.

As for specific cards, I have used Lexar, Pretec, Kingston and Sandisk. I know users have reported problems from time to time with Simple Technology.
