Hello,

I am looking for a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) browser that will run on Win CE. They are available for Palm OS, Win32 machines, but I can't find any for CE.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers
Hiram

What is a WAP going to do?

I use an HP 680 HPC pro, I have free ISP via freewwweb.com, do e-mail, WEB brousing etc mostly on LAN lines but have done so using my Ericsson I888 phone with the IR and no wires. As cell phone technolgy is lagging with low bauds its mainly only effective for e-mail which I do with my CE with no wires with the cell phone.

For me I am waiting for the fall/winter release of the 128,000 buad wireless Richocet service. All of the major PCII card brands like Merlin, Sierra Wireless etc are building PCII cards that support this new fast wireless network. With that I could get extremely fast internet, etc wireless on my CE. To me the cell phones with built in WEB are lame as they are just really more of WEB clipping and does not have speed to enable real brousing. I think tring to mix a PDA and phone is not very useful, especially for more business users who like myself need the power of a real computer like CE.

????
