I am trying to access my Window CE 6.0 machine from PC running Window XP with TCP/IP protocol.
The Window CE machine is connected to the PC through Activesync 4.5 and everything is OK. The Window CE machine flash memory can be accessed with explorer on PC. The IP address of the Window CE machine assigned by Activesync was found 192.168.55.101. However, the IP address to access the Window CE machine from PC can not be found with the DOS command "IPCONFIG /ALL".
When the Window CE machine is connected to the PC, it was checked on device manager list that a device with name "Window CE USB Sync" was added. It was heard that one more network device with name "Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter" should also be added on the device manager list so that the IP address is assigned for the connected device through Activesync. This device does not appear on the device manager list.
Is there any suggestion what wrong with the setup and how to fix this problem.
I believe this issue may be fixed by changing the registery key of USB function driver on my Window CE machine, but I do not know the definition of the figure of each registry key. Is there any document explaining them out there ?
