I have become aware that my H/pc has become host for a virus: this means that I will continually reinfect my main machine. Does anyone know of a virus checker/cleanser for windows ce 2.1 Thanks

Hi,
A virus for Windows CE is not compatible with your desktop. Program do not run on both the h/pc and your desktop.

You can store programs on your H/PC and then transfer them to your desktop.

I am not aware of a virus scanner. I am not aware of any viruses for Windows CE as well.

I thought that ce could not catch a virus: however one of the files transferred to my main pc was infected with W97/Ethan.genr: on checking with the help desk (LG Phemon) they told me both of your existence and mentioned the possibility of being a carrier.

If they are wrong, I am relieved.
Thanks
